For the first post of this year, I want to introduce "Global Risk Briefing" in Bloomberg. This section shows you how global risk map looks like in real time. It offers related articles and graphics of global risk distribution. Risks are measured in five different ways: 1) reserves stockpiles, 2) unemployment outlook, 3) inflation forecast, and 4) currency volatility. And you can also check the measures country-by-country.
As you all know, politics is roiling markets as the Trump era dawns, Chinese leadership turns over and major elections sweep through Europe. So I strongly recommend to get signals from Bloomberg's risk map and to get an intuition for your work!
