KGSF Students are required to participate in the 'Global Study Program' in their third semester to ensure that they develop a global perspective. Those who have attended undergraduate college taught in English (USA, Canada, Australia, part of Swiss) for full years of their study are exempt from this requirement. Also, international students are exempt from this requirement. This program includes schools' names with City University London, Michigan State University, Ohio State University, University of California, University of California, Irvine, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Maryland, University of Texas at Austin. Amongst these, Bayes Business School, University of Maryland, and University of Maryland offer a dual degree program with KGSF. We continue to expand the lists so that students can have broader choices. Students participating in the program will take regular courses (in addition to those that are tailored to KAIST) and they will have the opportunity to visit financial institutions and stock exchanges as part of the program.
